Star Trek Enterprise seven disc collection on Blu-Ray DVD

blueray-star-trek-336

You don’t have to be a Trekkie to enjoy an occasional evening with Spock and Captain Kirk! Enjoy this collection of classic films on DVD of Star Trek, the original franchise by Gene Roddenberry. This makes a great addition to any DVD collection, but especially to someone who’s just moving in to a new place, like a student going off to college, or somebody hosting a housewarming party. Whether it’s for friends or family, this collection makes a great gift for all kinds of people – who doesn’t love the signature Spock haircut, Levar Burton’s high-tech visor, the cheesy Starfleet emblems worn by the crewmembers, and all of the space-age adventures and mishaps that the Star Trek crew got themselves into time and again? This first film in the collection is “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” from 1979, consisting of the original cast of the television program which was reunited for the making of the film in which Captain Kirk and his crew restore safety to the galaxy. The second film, Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan, was produced in 1982 and follows the revenge of genetically-superior Khan who exacts his revenge on Kirk for having been imprisoned. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) follows the quest to retrieve Spock, who had presumably died in the last film, and viewers follow Spock back to his home planet and become acquainted with his Vulcan people. In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986), the crew leaves exile from Vulcan to heads to Earth, mainly future San Francisco, to face trial and discover humpback whales which were previously thought to have become extinct. In Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989), the crew departs from Earth to rescue hostages from the planet Nimbus III, discovering Spock’s darker half-brother. In Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), the Klingon Empire is thrown into crisis and attempts to make peace with the United Federation of Planets. Follow the movie series from the very beginning into the nineties with this epic collection!
